Automated Analysis of PAHs in Soil

Automated Analysis of PAHs in Soil

PAHs contaminated Soil Analysis with HAPEX platform from Ingenio & Phytronix

The HAPEX is a robotic platform that can perform a soil sample preparation for extraction, identification and quantification of environmental or chemical contamination such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).  The PAL3 RTC based HAPEX combines a specially engineered tool to manage and transport 40 ml sealed vials, 3 vortex mixers and an embedded centrifuge.  The automated process performs up to 24 soil samples and greatly reduces the time dedicated to solid material sample preparation.

PAHs in soil with HAPEX

Advantages of the HAPEX:

  • Up to 24 soil sample preparation
  • Adapted to 40 ml sealed vials and their transport
  • 3 Powerful Vortex Mixers (1000 RPM max speed)
  • Embedded Centrifuge (5000 RPM max speed)
  • Max. centrifuge speed: 5000 RPM
  • Adaptable to other types of sample preparations such as QuEChERS
  • Complete sample traceability with bar code reader (optional)
