Automated Vial Transport Solutions on PAL Systems

The automated transport of vials on sample preparation systems is of crucial importance to access the modules during a workflow. Designed to streamline workflows and enhance productivity, the PAL offers several dedicated mechanisms for vial transport.

  • Most used is a magnetic pick-up of the regular vials with a metal crimp or screw cap. Headspace Tools, SPME and SPME Arrow Tools and Liquid Tools are equipped with a magnetic adapter.

  • Non-magnetic items are transferred to modules with a Gripper Tool.

  • Small items like the PAL System uSPE Cartridges can be moved between racks by syringe transport while attached to the needle.
