Temperature controlled storage of vials

Temperature Controlled Sample Storage

Temperature Controlled Sample Storage

Choose from various Temperature Controlled Sample Storage modules

Samples and reagents mainly in life science applications require the cooled storage. Also, stock solutions for calibrations dilutions are kept at lower temperatures to prevent solvent evaporation. The PAL System offers cooled storage devices tailored to a variety of applications and vial resp. microtiter plate formats.

Temperature controlled sample storage
  • For the temperature controlled sample storage of 1 ml, 2 ml, 10 ml, 20 ml vials or microtiter plates under defined temperature conditions between  4 °C and 40 ° C.

  • Up to 3 PAL Racks, also mixed formats.

  • Unique is the condensation free Tray Cooler using regular vial racks for up to 20 ml size with free vial access.

  • The proprietary (Pat. pending) ventilation system makes sure that no condensation occurs on top of the samples vials, preventing cross contamination.

Peltier Stack-temperature controlled storage

PAL Peltier Stacks

  • For the temperature controlled sample storage of 1 ml, 2 ml, 10 ml vials, microtiter plates or deep well plates under defined temperature conditions between 4 °C and 40 ° C.

  • Various Peltier Stacks are available, DW6 for up to 6 racks or DW plates, DW2 for up to 2 racks or DW plates or MT12 for up to 12 MTP's.

  • Allows to use transparent standard vials with light sensitive compounds.

  • A maximum of 4 Peltier Stacks can be configured on a PAL with extended x-axis length.

Untargeted 2DxLC-Mass Spectrometry using SWATH-DIA-Based Workflow for the Characterization of Lipid Profiles in Plasma Samples

The use of lipidomic analyses based on LC-mass spectrometry has become widespread due to its sensitivity and specificity which provides a broader picture of lipid profiles in biofluids. In this work, we combined an automated sample extraction and a two-dimensional liquid chromatography (2DxLC) system with HILIC-based class separation followed by an orthogonal reverse-phase chromatography with an untargeted SWATH-DIA workflow to accurately annotate phosphatidylcholines (PC), lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) and etherphosphatidylcholines (PC O-) in human plasma samples.

Automated Parallel Derivatization of Metabolites

For metabolite profiling chemical derivatization has been used to improve MS sensitivity and LC retention. However, for multi-analytes quantification, the number of available isotopically labelled internal standards is limited. And, there is no single workflow which can provide large-scale metabolomics coverage in particular for polar metabolites.
